ABC Poem - Boredom

~BOREDOM~

"You ever get that strange feeling,
Of emptiness and little thought,
That nothing of any remote interest,
Could calm our need for a little more?

That feeling of desperate anxiety
That bothers you as you wait,
That mocking sense of unsatisfaction,
As time goes on and on,

Of course we all know this feeling,
That feeling of laziness,
The non-existent urge to do anything,
until that moment arrives,

The thoughts are building,
the train of thought moving,
the energy within gradually increasing,
As we open our mouths to finally say,

"I'M BORED".....
