~WARNING~

This is probably one of the very few disturbing pictures I created. It contains visually disturbing images of torture and "experimentation".

~you have been warned~

After her home was destroyed and overturned in confusion. She was captured and Experimented on for 15 years, some of the tortures were archaic, but most of the scientists convoluted several experimental treatments that were so cruel and inhumane that it was worse than the old medieval torture devices.

Some of the "Experiments are listed above and are only the minor tortures:

#1) This was one of the most disturbing machines ever created; This machine was the very first experiment tested on her, and one that would cause so much of her mental disorders. It was called the intuniation machine, which inserts certain chemicals that induces near-realistic terror and pain into the wearer's mind, it causes the wearer to "see" some of their most valuable things in life be destroyed or be mentally attacked by their worst fears. The machine was so effective in its terrible work that it would cause many to jolt and twitch and possibly go into a semi-seizure, leaving them with blank, terror-induced faces, with blood running from their eyes. (such as in the picture)

#2) This was one device that Amelia would not forget, It was called the Vocal strip drill. It's purpose was to cut and drill into a victim's neck/vocal area, where once it was in the neck, it would release several tension cords into the throat and connect to the vocal cords, along with a miniturized camera that would record the effects of adding specific chemicals to the vocal cords, causing either a slight burning sensation, or unbearable pain that would cause the victim to scream, but their mouths would be covered so that the pain would increase twice as much.

#3) This was the gagging machine, which would be inserted into the throat directly into the stomach, with the acid diluted to allow vomit inducing liquids into the stomach. The liquid caused stomach pain and usually lasted for several hours until the chemical would cause the victim to throw up, as shown in #6.

#4) The Eye receptor was a machine that had a drastic effect to the victims eye, the victim would not be allowed to sleep for a full 24 hour, then they would be attached to the device which would shock the eye, streaming to the brain with an electrical jolt every time they close their eyes, which would only result in droopy eyelids or faded pupils, as well as heavy fatigue.

#5) This was one of the most painful machines, it was more of a scanning machine, but it still caused torturous pain to the victim. The machine would have several x-ray scanners that are based on with laser technology to allow the rays to be visible, but at a cost of each ray being excruitiatingly painful , without even causing physical pain, and worse, if the victim is prolonged to the effects of the rays, it could cause severe cancer, but a few, such as Amelia, was lucky enough not to contract cancer from the x-ray/laser scanners.

#6) This was the result of the Gagging machine, the victim, after several hours of induced vomiting liquids, would throw up violently and would continue to throw up until the effects were gone (which usually lasts for an hour), causing the victim to suffer severe drowsiness and fatigue, as well as extreme loss in weight. Even if the victim attempts to stop throwing up, a device was connected to the uvula to contract more vomiting if the test subject resists.

I tried to create a picture that shows how terrible Amelia was tortured, but the machines in the pic that are really disturbing is #1 and #5.

I can't really say these 'procedures' really disturb me. Since they seem to be merely extremely expensive ways on inducing sadistic pain and anguish.

But Machine 1# got my attention. Something like that could be used to create 'obedient' soldiers. Using visions and dementia to force them to perform acts of unimaginable cruelty without hesitation, etc.

The scientists weren't exactly rational, nor were they bound by morality, they wanted to experiment even the most relatively mundane pain with extreme prejudice. It's actually interesting that the first one got your attention, because it's effects will have a prominent use later on.

Hahah, a case of too much government funds and so much time,eh xD

Yeah, I always found that the issues of the mind were always more sinister and potentially more disturbing that those of the body. True horror should always strive to accomplish mind squick.

That said, I do adore the meticulous detail you try to put into the engineering aspects of Amelia. Kinda reminds me of the obsessive tweaking I give my original characters and species xD

Regarding Machine #1, the "intuniation machine":

That machine kinda reminds me of the psychotropic hallucenogen that was created by Dr. Jonathan Crane [a.k.a. Scarecrow (Played by Cillian Murphy)] in Batman Begins.

Come to think of it, there are several elements in this story that make me think of Batman.

Gosh, this all seems like you turned to Star Wars and Anakin Skywalker's/Darth Vader's life for inspiration for this.

I actually drew some inspiration from Star Wars for this, but most of the story and her background is actually made up from ideas I had.

OH GOD. I'm a sado-masecist and I find that horrible. If it were possible for me, I'd rescue her, War style.

0_0.... Very interesting information, but yeah, I think that was her descriptive level of torture.
